PSHCE
At The Park, our PSHCE curriculum provides students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to take an active and meaningful role in society—both now and in the future. We focus on real-life learning that helps students prepare for adulthood, encouraging independence, resilience, and self-awareness.
Through topics such as financial literacy, healthy lifestyles, respectful relationships, and diversity, students learn how to make informed choices and manage everyday challenges. We also support them in developing enterprising attitudes, navigating transitions, with the subject complementing the life skills and careers curriculum
Our lessons are dynamic and inclusive, using discussion, role play, group work, investigations, and problem-solving to bring learning to life. Enrichment opportunities such as themed PSHCE days, visiting speakers, and hands-on workshops ensure that students connect classroom learning with the wider world around them.
